Chipper Jones, born Larry Wayne Jones Jr. on April 24, 1972, is a former American professional baseball player who played his entire career for the Atlanta Braves from 1993 to 2012. Jones was drafted by the Braves as the first overall pick in the 1990 MLB Draft and quickly developed into a star player, earning the National League Rookie of the Year award in 1995.
