Freddy Garcia Autographs
Freddy Garcia is a former Venezuelan professional baseball pitcher who spent 15 years in the Major League Baseball (MLB) with a total of 156 wins and 1,697 strikeouts under his belt. He started his career with the Seattle Mariners in 1999 and quickly established himself as one of the team's most reliable starting pitchers. In 2001, he helped lead the Mariners to a record-tying 116 regular-season victories and an American League Championship Series appearance.
Garcia joined other teams during his career, including the Chicago White Sox, Philadelphia Phillies, New York Yankees, Atlanta Braves, Baltimore Orioles, and the San Diego Padres. Though he had ups and downs, he remained a force on the mound, earning two All-Star nods in 2001 and 2002, as well as winning the ALCS MVP award in 2005. Known for his split-finger fastball and a powerful curveball, Garcia was generally regarded as one of the most consistent pitchers of his era.
Garcia retired from baseball in 2014 and returned to his marital home in Seattle, where he remains active in the city's athletic community. In his career, Garcia earned a reputation as a tough, crafty pitcher who could throw in a variety of situations, particularly on big-game days. His success in the MLB cemented his legacy as one of Venezuela's greatest baseball players of all time.
