Sanchez signed with the Giants in 2004 as a left-handed pitcher. He debuted with the team in 2006 as a relief pitcher, then became a starter the following year. Sanchez had an impressive Major League Baseball (MLB) career with the Giants, including a no-hitter game against the San Diego Padres in 2009, the first no-hitter in the Giants' history since 1976. He also had a significant impact in the Giants' successful run to their World Series Championship in 2010 as a starting pitcher. Sanchez later played for different MLB teams, including the Kansas City Royals, Colorado Rockies, and Detroit Tigers.

In 2018, Sanchez retired from professional baseball, but his legacy remains in the MLB. He is remembered as one of the best left-handed pitchers of his era, with 39 wins and more than 600 strikeouts. He was known for his fastball and a sharp slider, which made him very effective against both right- and left-handed batters. Jonathan Sanchez's talent and hard work made him a star on the field and a role model for young baseball enthusiasts. Read even more about Jonathan Sanchez at Wikipedia
