Yovani Gallardo Autographs
Yovani Gallardo was born on February 27, 1986, in Penjamillo, Michoacán, Mexico. He moved to the United States when he was three years old and grew up in Fort Worth, Texas. He attended Trimble Tech High School, where he played baseball and was scouted by the Milwaukee Brewers, who drafted him in the second round of the 2004 MLB draft.
Gallardo made his MLB debut in 2007 with the Brewers and quickly established himself as one of the team's top pitchers. Over his time with the Brewers, he earned All-Star honors, a Silver Slugger award, and led the National League in strikeouts in 2012. He was traded to the Texas Rangers in 2015 and went on to play for the Baltimore Orioles, Seattle Mariners, and Texas Rangers again. Throughout his MLB career, Gallardo has a record of 121-101 with 1,447 strikeouts and a 4.16 ERA.
Gallardo's successful baseball career has also extended to his international play. He has represented Mexico in the World Baseball Classic in 2009, 2013, and 2017. In the 2013 tournament, he pitched a historic game against Team USA, throwing five hitless innings and leading Mexico to a 5-2 win. Gallardo's contributions to both the MLB and international baseball have cemented his legacy as a talented and respected pitcher.
