LaMarcus Aldridge Autographs
LaMarcus Aldridge is a retired American professional basketball player who is best known for his time with the Portland Trail Blazers and the San Antonio Spurs. He was born on July 19, 1985 in Dallas, Texas, and grew up playing basketball at Seagoville High School. He was a four-year letterman in basketball and was ranked as one of the top college prospects in the country.
After graduating from high school, Aldridge attended the University of Texas at Austin, where he played for two seasons before declaring for the NBA draft in 2006. He was drafted second overall by the Chicago Bulls, but was traded to the Portland Trail Blazers on draft night. Aldridge quickly became a key player for the Blazers and was named to the NBA All-Rookie First Team in 2007. He continued to improve each year, and in the 2013-2014 season, he was named an All-Star for the third time and led the Blazers to the playoffs.
In 2015, Aldridge signed with the San Antonio Spurs as a free agent. He played for the Spurs for five seasons, helping them reach the playoffs each year. Aldridge was named to the All-NBA Team in 2018 and 2019, and he retired from basketball in 2021. Throughout his career, Aldridge was known for his scoring ability, rebounding, and defense, and he was regarded as one of the best power forwards in the league.
