Brad Boyes is a former Canadian professional ice hockey player who played as a right-winger. Born on April 17, 1982, in Mississauga, Ontario, Boyes had a successful career in the National Hockey League (NHL). He started his junior career playing for the Erie Otters of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL). In the 2000-01 season, he recorded 33 goals and 80 points and was named the Otters' Rookie of the Year. In 2000, Boyes was selected by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the first round, 24th overall, in the NHL Entry Draft. However, he didn't play for the Leafs and was traded to the San Jose Sharks in 2003. Boyes struggled to find his spot in the NHL but finally found a home in the St. Louis Blues. In the 2007-08 season, he recorded 43 goals and 65 points, earning him a spot in the NHL All-Star Game.
