Peter Budaj is a Slovakian former professional ice hockey goaltender who played in the National Hockey League (NHL) for over a decade. Born on September 18, 1982, in Banska Bystrica, Czechoslovakia, Budaj began his hockey career with the Slovak Extraliga's HC Banska Bystrica.
