He spent time playing for the Minnesota Twins, Philadelphia Phillies, Toronto Blue Jays, and Washington Nationals. Revere was drafted by the Twins in 2007 and made his major league debut in 2010. He quickly became a fan favorite in Minnesota due to his hustle and speed. In 2012, Revere stole 40 bases, tied for the most in the American League, and led the league in hits with 184. He continued to be a consistent hitter and base stealer throughout his career, stealing a career-high 49 bases in 2014 with the Phillies.

Revere's career came to an end in 2017 after a short stint with the Los Angeles Angels. He finished his career with a .284 batting average, 13 home runs, 198 RBIs, and 211 stolen bases.
