Punto played for various teams, including the Minnesota Twins, Boston Red Sox, Los Angeles Dodgers, and Oakland Athletics. He was primarily a utility infielder, able to play second base, third base, and shortstop, and his exceptional fielding skills earned him numerous accolades throughout his career.
