Torii Hunter Autographs
Torii Hunter is a former professional baseball player who spent 19 seasons in Major League Baseball (MLB). Born on July 18, 1975, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, Hunter's baseball career began at Pine Bluff High School where he played as a center fielder. The Minnesota Twins drafted Hunter in the first round of the 1993 MLB draft, and he made his debut in the MLB in August 1997.
Hunter played for the Twins for 11 seasons, establishing himself as a defensive superstar and a consistent hitter. He won nine consecutive Gold Glove awards from 2001 to 2009 and was named an All-Star five times. In 2002, Hunter hit a career-high 29 home runs, drove in 94 runs, and batted .289. The Twins won the American League Central Division Championship in 2002, 2003, and 2004, and Hunter contributed significantly to their success. In 2007, his last season with the Twins, he hit .287 with 28 home runs and 107 RBIs.
After leaving the Twins, Hunter played four seasons with the Los Angeles Angels, one season with the Detroit Tigers, and one season with the Minnesota Twins. During his career, he hit 353 home runs, drove in 1,391 runs, and batted .277. He also won two Silver Slugger awards, which are given to the best offensive players at each position in each league. Throughout his career, Hunter was known for his leadership, professionalism, and work ethic. He retired in 2015 and has since become known as a successful businessman, philanthropist, and broadcaster.
