Steve Young Autographs
Steve Young is a former American football quarterback who played in the National Football League (NFL) for 15 seasons. He was born on October 11, 1961, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Young grew up in a family that was deeply involved in football, with both his father and uncle playing professionally.
Young played college football at Brigham Young University (BYU), where he set numerous records and was named a consensus All-American in 1983. After graduation, Young was selected by the NFL's Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the first round of the 1984 draft. However, he struggled with the team and was eventually traded to the San Francisco 49ers in 1987.
Young's career with the 49ers was nothing short of remarkable. He played a key role in the team's championship successes in 1988, 1989, and 1994, earning him numerous individual accolades along the way. Young was a seven-time Pro Bowl selection, two-time MVP, and eventually became a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2005. He also holds several NFL records, including the highest passer rating in a single season (112.8) and the most consecutive passes without an interception (291).
