Cam Ward Autographs
Cam Ward is a retired Canadian ice hockey goaltender who has enjoyed a long and successful career in the National Hockey League (NHL). Born on February 29, 1984, in Sherwood Park, Alberta, he started playing hockey at a young age and eventually went on to become one of the best goaltenders in the league. Ward played 13 seasons in the NHL, the majority of which were spent with the Carolina Hurricanes.
Ward's NHL career began in 2005, when he was called up by the Carolina Hurricanes from their AHL affiliate, the Lowell Lock Monsters. As a rookie, he quickly made a name for himself by helping the Hurricanes win their first-ever Stanley Cup championship that same year. Throughout his career, he was known for his quick reflexes, agility, and calm demeanor under pressure. He was also respected for his work ethic, leadership skills, and dedication to the game.
Ward retired from professional hockey in 2019, after spending his final season with the Chicago Blackhawks. Over the course of his career, he played in 701 regular-season games, earning a record of 334-256-88, with a goals-against average of 2.74 and a save percentage of .908. He also played in 51 playoff games, with a record of 23-18, a goals-against average of 2.58, and a save percentage of .918. Ward was named the NHL's Rookie of the Year in 2006 and also won the Conn Smythe Trophy for his outstanding performance during the 2006 playoffs.
