Ibanez started his career in 1996 when he was drafted by the Seattle Mariners. He played for the Mariners for 10 seasons before moving on to play for the Kansas City Royals, Philadelphia Phillies, New York Yankees, and finally the Los Angeles Angels. Ibanez was a three-time All-Star and hit over 300 home runs in his career.
