Ryan Zimmerman is an American professional baseball player who was born on September 28, 1984, in Washington, DC. He started playing baseball while he was still young and continued to excel in the sport as he grew older. Zimmerman played college baseball at the University of Virginia, where he was widely regarded as one of the best college baseball players in the country. Zimmerman quickly established himself as one of the Nationals' best players and an elite third baseman in the league.
