Bynum's professional career began in 2005 when he joined the Los Angeles Lakers. He played with the team for seven seasons, from 2005 - 2012, and earned two NBA championships in 2009 and 2010. During his stint with the Lakers, Bynum showed great potential and became one of the league's dominant centers. He was also named an All-Star in 2012, but injuries began to plague his career. In the lower part of the 2011–12 season, Bynum became the youngest player in NBA history to record a double-double of 30 points and 30 rebounds. In August 2012, he was traded to the Philadelphia 76ers, where he continued to put up decent performances. However, his injuries prevented him from playing a full season, and he eventually left the team to join the Cleveland Cavaliers, where he made little impact before being released. Bynum finished his career with the Indiana Pacers in 2014.

Despite injuries and personal issues, Andrew Bynum's impact on basketball cannot be overlooked. He was a dominant force in his prime, and his skill level was highly respected by coaches and fans. His height, strength, and agility made him one of the most formidable centers in the game. Although his career was short-lived, Bynum will always be remembered for his incredible performances, his two championship rings, and his contribution to the Los Angeles Lakers' legacy.
